Excited to announce I won the Grand Prize at the Slamdance Screenplay Competition with my feature screenplay, The Delegation - currently in development.
Born and raised in Houston, TX, I hung up my baseball mitt and went on to attend The University of North Carolina School of the Arts receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Drama. Upon graduating, I was awarded the Kenan Fellowship at Lincoln Center in New York City and shortly thereafter landed a job with Blue Man Group where I performed with the show Off-Broadway (NYC), as well as shows in Boston, Orlando, and as a cast member of the National Tour.
As a proud member of both SAG and EQUITY, I've worked in film and television (NBC, CBS, SHOWTIME), regional theater and commercials.
As a filmmaker, I’ve directed three short films: Whatever Sunlight Remains, The Visit (Vimeo Staff Pick), and the docu-short, The Village Artist. I’m currently in pre-production on my first feature length documentary. As a screenwriter, my second feature narrative, The Gentlemen Smugglers (based on the bestselling non-fiction novel Jackpot), is currently in development with Automatik Entertainment.
Current representation: Creative Artists Agency, BRS/GAGE, and Grandview Management.
A huge thanks to my loving and supportive wife, Bethany, and to my parents, sisters, and extended family... and my favorite writing partner/dog, Hudson.
